Rich Brownies
12 T softened butter (1.5 sticks) unsalted butter
1.5 cups sugar
1 cup cocoa (use good cocoa)
1 T instant coffee
1T vanilla
1T molasses
¾ cup flour
½ t salt
⅔ dark chocolate chips
2eggs
mix butter, sugar and cocoa in a bowl with an electric mixer for 2 minutes until nice and smooth
add vanilla, molasses and instant coffee to bowl and mix for another minute
add flour and salt and mix until combined (30 seconds)
fold in chocolate chips
bake in a 9x9 prepared pan* at 340 degrees farenheit for 25-30 minutes. Until the knife comes out clean.
*for my pan, I line it with parchment paper, spray it with cooking spray and dust it with sugar (about 2 tablespoons) then I shake the excess off.
